Marsh McLennan (MMC) is a global professional services firm offering clients advice and solutions in the areas of risk, strategy, and people.
Having partnered with Insight Visual Systems on multiple AV upgrades across their UK offices, MMC extended this trusted relationship to their European hub in Warsaw. The first phase focused on transforming a flexible four-room partitioned space on the third floor, with further upgrades planned for the second floor in a future phase.
The Brief
The primary goal for Phase 1 was to significantly improve the audio experience within the third-floor meeting space. Previously, the setup consisted of a single sound and video bar mounted on a tripod beneath the projector — a basic solution that led to poor audio pickup and limited clarity during hybrid meetings.
Recognising the importance of high-quality communication, MMC prioritised a comprehensive microphone and audio system, while also taking the opportunity to modernise the room’s video and control systems for a consistent and simple user experience.
The Solution
The third-floor space, comprising a four-room partition layout, required a highly flexible AV design. Insight Visual delivered a fully integrated solution built around advanced audio, video, and control technologies, tailored to adapt seamlessly to different room configurations.
Audio was at the heart of the upgrade. A combination of Shure MXA920 ceiling array and MXA710 linear microphones ensured complete voice pickup across all four zones, supported by Q-SYS CORE processors and amplification to deliver audio for every participant — in-room and remote.
Visual enhancements included a 98" NEC 4K display and a high-brightness Epson laser projector, providing dynamic presentation options. Q-SYS PTZ cameras were installed for intelligent video capture across the flexible space, while Poly HP Mini PCs and Neat Pads enable seamless Zoom Room integration. Custom touch panels and scripted interfaces allow users to manage room combinations and technology with ease.
This phase was delivered end-to-end by Insight’s in-house team — from system design and programming to installation and commissioning — resulting in a future-ready AV environment designed for simple and scalable collaboration.
