The Client

NERA Economic Consulting, part of the Marsh McLennan Group, is a global leader in providing strategic economic expertise across regulatory, public policy, and litigation issues. During the summer of 2024, they moved their London offices from Marble Arch House to the St Botolph Building in the heart of the City, which marked an opportunity to create a collaborative and technology-driven office environment.

The Brief

The goal was to equip multiple meeting rooms, from small huddle spaces to large conference rooms, with seamless, high-performance AV technology, keeping in line with the MMC global standards. A key requirement was to ensure user-friendly operation to facilitate seamless and productive interactions between in-office and remote teams.

The Solution

Insight Visual partnered with NERA to deliver a tailored AV solution that balances modern technology and usability across all spaces.

One of the standout spaces is the 18-person boardroom, designed to host large meetings. A 98” 4K UHD display provides visuals for presentations and meetings, complemented by ceiling-mounted Yamaha microphones and Ecler speakers that ensure high quality audio coverage. To make hybrid meetings effortless, the room features a Poly Studio E70 4K conferencing camera with a TC10 device for single touch Zoom connectivity.

Flexibility was key for NERA, and this is reflected in the divisible meeting room which links to the boardroom for events. Insight installed an NEC 75” 4K UHD display and a Poly Studio X70 video bar, which provide seamless audio and video whether the room is combined for larger events or split for smaller gatherings. The adaptable space also benefits from wall partitions, ceiling-mounted QSC speakers, and a centralised QSC control system, making it easy for staff to reconfigure the room as needed.

NERA’s smaller meeting rooms are fitted with NEC 75” 4K displays and Poly Studio X Series video bars, ensuring seamless video conferencing. Each space includes easy-to-use Neat Pads and Extron HDMI over Cat 6 systems guarantee stable, high-speed connectivity, making media sharing and collaboration hassle-free.

Eighteen partner offices and two 1-2-1 Zoom rooms were designed to support focused collaboration and individual virtual meetings. Each room is equipped with DisplayTen ME-PRO LED Interactive Touch Screens. Neat Pads were also installed in these spaces for room control and scheduling.

Beyond meeting rooms, the café and breakout area were transformed into a versatile space with a 98” NEC display for multimedia and digital signage, paired with pendant speakers and wireless Sennheiser microphones to support both casual gatherings and presentations.

The completed AV installation has delivered Nera’s requirement for flexible technical spaces. From the executive boardroom to smaller meeting rooms, every space is designed for ease of use with the same user interface. The centralised control system and intuitive touch panels allow employees to manage all AV features without specialised knowledge, saving time and minimising technical disruptions.
